According to reports, the Ghanaian man was bringing the snails from Ghana and when questioned, he revealed that those were meant to be eaten upon his arrival home.
How on earth will someone be detained or arrested for carrying snails in America? The report states that, snails are considered pests in America and bringing them over there is a serious offense as they are a big threat to the American ecosystem.
In Ghana, that’s another story for another time. We love to eat them especially when they are dipped in kontombire sauce. America is missing out on good things if we are being honest.

Snail is a Pest?? Seriously!!! In Ghana we do Snail farming because some people eat it. Snail is not Pest and not any threat to agriculture. That's bias way of seeing things
