Reports about the incident began circulating on platforms such as TikTok, Facebook and X during the week. It has been linked to the growing trend of explicit content commonly referred to online in Ghana as “Azigi.”

According to claims made by social media users, the woman involved is believed to be a police officer and is alleged to have handled what appears to be a standard police-issued sidearm in an inappropriate manner.
However, the identity of the woman, her alleged connection to the Ghana Police Service and the authenticity of the claims have not been independently confirmed.
The incident has attracted strong reactions online, with some Ghanaians calling on the Ghana Police Service to investigate the matter and determine whether the individual is genuinely a serving officer.
The controversy follows other incidents involving explicit content and public personalities that have resulted in public backlash and demands for legal action. Content creator Hayford faced similar criticism earlier this year following a separate controversy.
