Produced by Hairlergbe, the song marks another collaboration between the two musicians, who have worked together on several recordings over the years.

Keeny Ice, whose real name is Amu Barnabas, is credited as the composer and lyricist of “Gaglozu,” taking responsibility for the songwriting while Hairlergbe handles the studio production.

His catalogue includes recordings that explore personal ambition, everyday experiences and life in his community.

Earlier in 2026, the rapper released “Hozana,” a song centred on gratitude, faith and survival. He followed it with “Mawuena,” another recording that addressed resilience and trust in God during difficult circumstances.

He also released “Dzoboku,” a hip-hop track whose title refers to wealth or money in Ewe. The recording explored ambition and the effort required to achieve financial success.

These releases have given his followers different perspectives on his songwriting throughout the year.

With “Gaglozu,” Keeny Ice adds another title to that collection, maintaining his working relationship with Hairlergbe.

The producer has contributed to several recordings associated with the rapper, including “Mawuena,” “DALI” featuring Lyrical Joe, and earlier collaborations.

Their continued partnership has become a familiar part of Keeny Ice’s musical activities, bringing together his songwriting and Hairlergbe’s production experience.

Beyond his solo recordings, Keeny Ice has also collaborated with musicians including Stonebwoy, Kwesi Amewuga, Chief One and Lyrical Joe.

His appearance on Stonebwoy’s “Xosetor” introduced him to additional listeners, while his independent releases have helped maintain his presence in Ghana’s music industry.

“Gaglozu” arrives as another addition to his 2026 releases, giving supporters new material to enjoy as the year approaches its final months.

For listeners following music from the Volta Region, the song also provides another opportunity to explore the work of an artiste who has consistently represented his hometown through music.
