DJ Lord OTB – This Is Lasmid (Mixtape)

Ghanaian DJ DJ Lord OTB puts the focus on Lasmid in a new edition of his Essential Mix series titled “This Is Lasmid.” The mix brings together songs from the singer’s journey so far, giving fans a full session built around one of Ghana’s active hitmakers.

Lasmid has continued to build a strong run of releases with songs that have travelled across Ghana and beyond. This mix includes records such as “Friday Night,” “Puul,” “Olivia,” and “No Issues” featuring King Promise. It also makes room for “Signature” with KiDi, a collaboration that reached the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.

Rather than only picking the biggest songs, DJ Lord OTB uses the mix to show different sides of Lasmid’s music. Listeners can hear the journey from his earlier releases through the songs that pushed him to a wider audience. The selection moves through Afrobeats, highlife and pop-leaning sounds, showing why Lasmid has remained a regular name on Ghanaian playlists.
