Stonebwoy, the multiple award winning Ghanaian reggae dancehall star, has released a new song titled “Gidi Gidi (Fire).” The song leads his upcoming EP The Torcher, due for release in September 2025. It occupies the fourth spot on a nine track project entitled The Torcher.
The full tracklist, confirmed in recent press reports, lists these songs in order: “Intro”, “Torcher”, “Send Dem A Prayer”, “Gidi Gidi (Fire)”, “Samankudi”, “Outside Lifestyle”, “Susuka (feat. Beeztrap & Yaw Tog)”, “Xosetor (feat. Agbeshie & Kenny Ice)”, and “Deeper.”
Stonebwoy continues to shine in his career. He has won Best International Act: Africa at the 2015 BET Awards and Artiste of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards in 2015 and 2024.

Earlier in 2025, he toured North America with the Up & Runnin6 World Tour. He also performed at major festivals in Europe, Switzerland, Germany, and Jamaica.
His EP The Torcher follows his 2024 album Up & Runnin6. Stonebwoy teased The Torcher with striking visuals and poetry, including a burning Ankh motion graphic in mid August and a one minute teaser video on September 1.
At this time, credits such as songwriter, producer, and track length for “Gidi Gidi (Fire)” have not been disclosed. However, its place as the lead single shows it plays a key role in the EP’s rollout.
