Juls – POSITION ft. Projexx & Minz

British-Ghanaian record producer Juls has released a new single titled “POSITION,” featuring Jamaican dancehall artiste Projexx and Nigerian singer Minz. The collaboration officially arrived on October 23, 2026, under TABOM RECORDS and GRIM RECORDS.

The song brings together three musicians representing different parts of the African and Caribbean music scene, combining Afrobeats influences with the rhythmic character of Jamaican dancehall.

Juls, whose production work has contributed to the international growth of African music, takes charge of the musical direction, while Projexx and Minz deliver the vocal performances.

“POSITION” centres on attraction, dancing and romantic chemistry, with its lyrics drawing from Jamaican Patois, Nigerian Pidgin and Yoruba expressions.

One of the interesting aspects of “POSITION” is the connection between its featured performers.

Projexx brings his Jamaican dancehall background to the recording, introducing Caribbean expressions and a vocal approach associated with the genre.

Minz complements that contribution with his Nigerian musical identity, creating a collaboration that connects different cultures through contemporary African popular music.

The song’s lyrical direction focuses on physical attraction and playful interactions, making it suitable for listeners who enjoy dance-oriented Afrobeats and dancehall recordings.

For Juls, the release represents another addition to an extensive catalogue built around collaborations with musicians from Ghana, Nigeria, Jamaica and other countries.

Born Julian Nicco-Annan, the producer has become an important figure in the development of contemporary African music, working with performers such as Wizkid, Burna Boy, King Promise and Mr Eazi.

His previous projects include Sounds of My World, Peace and Love and JUNCTION, the latter released in 2026.

Through these recordings, Juls has continued exploring musical connections between West Africa and other regions.

“POSITION” follows that approach by bringing together Projexx and Minz on a recording that reflects both African and Caribbean influences.

The single also follows other 2026 releases from Juls, including “TARGET” and “RARRI,” adding another collaboration to his activities during the year.

Unlike a full-length project, “POSITION” arrives as a standalone single, giving listeners a focused recording from the three artistes.

Its combination of dancehall expressions and Afrobeats influences makes it another example of the musical exchanges taking place between African and Caribbean performers.

For fans of Juls, Projexx and Minz, the release provides an opportunity to enjoy their collaboration and explore the individual catalogues of the musicians involved.
