Celestine Donkor – Praise Him Aloud

Ghanaian gospel singer and songwriter Celestine Donkor invites Christians to celebrate God’s goodness through her inspiring song “Praise Him Aloud.” The recording is taken from her 2026 studio album, Highly Lifted, and carries a joyful message centred on thanksgiving, worship and openly acknowledging God’s faithfulness.

Released on August 6, 2026, the song was produced by renowned Ghanaian music producer Morris Babyface. It runs for five minutes and eighteen seconds, offering an engaging worship experience for listeners who appreciate energetic gospel music.

“Praise Him Aloud” encourages believers to express their gratitude without hesitation. Its message emphasises the importance of praising God not only during moments of celebration but also through the challenges and uncertainties of everyday life.

The recording combines lively percussion, uplifting piano arrangements and rich vocal harmonies, creating an atmosphere suitable for church gatherings, praise sessions and personal devotion.

Celestine Donkor’s expressive vocal performance reinforces the song’s celebratory character, encouraging listeners to participate rather than simply observe.

One of the central ideas behind “Praise Him Aloud” is that thanksgiving should be expressed openly. For Christians, praise represents an opportunity to acknowledge God’s protection, provision and guidance throughout life’s journey.

The song reflects this understanding of worship, reminding listeners that gratitude remains an important part of their relationship with God.

“Praise Him Aloud” occupies the eighth position on Highly Lifted, a sixteen-track gospel album released under Dynamics Unlimited in partnership with ONErpm.

The project contains several other worship recordings, including “I Carry Fire,” “Anuonyam (Glory),” “We Hail You,” “Same Spirit” and “He Reigns.”

Another notable selection is “Use Me,” featuring Minister Bella, which appears immediately before “He Reigns” on the album.

For Celestine Donkor, the album adds to a musical ministry that has produced popular gospel songs such as “Agbebolo,” “Turning Around” and “Okronkronhene.”

Her latest project continues that tradition by providing music for different moments of Christian worship.

“Praise Him Aloud” is particularly appropriate for thanksgiving services, church celebrations and gatherings where believers come together to honour God.

The song offers a simple reminder that every testimony, answered prayer and personal victory provides another reason to give thanks.
