Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosu, stood as one of Ghana’s greatest musical icons. Across decades of work, he delivered hits such as “Aben Wo Ha,” “Mpempem Do Me,” and “Yentie Obiaa.” He became the face of modern highlife through consistency and passion. In 2020, he launched DLFM, his own radio station, to push Ghanaian music further. Four years later, the State recognized him with a Grand Medal for his contribution to the arts. Sadly, on July 26, 2025, he passed away. He left behind an unfinished album and a cancelled international tour.
