Wendy Shay is back again with a brand-new single called “Crazy Love”, featuring rising music star Olivetheboy. This exciting collaboration runs for 2 minutes and 49 seconds, and it’s already catching attention for its smooth blend of Afrobeats, catchy lyrics, and strong vocals.

“Crazy Love” tells the story of how love can feel sweet but also overwhelming. Wendy Shay sings with emotion, sharing the highs and lows of falling for someone deeply. Olivetheboy adds his unique sound, and together, they create a powerful and emotional vibe. The song was produced by Beatz Vampire, a well-known producer in Ghana’s music scene. The lyrics were written by Nicky Mensah.

Wendy Shay, born Wendy Asiamah Addo, started her music career in 2018 under RuffTown Records. She’s known for hits like “Survivor,” “Heat,” and “Emergency.” Earlier this year, she filmed the video for her song Sapiosexual at the Library of Africa and the African Diaspora in Accra, which got people talking online. Wendy has also spoken openly about her experiences in the industry, saying she’s one of the most criticized artists in Ghana. Despite that, she continues to shine and drop hit songs.

Olivetheboy, whose real name is Joel Ofori Bonsu, became popular in 2023 after releasing the viral song “Goodsin.” Born in Konongo in 2002, he has quickly become one of Ghana’s most-streamed young artists. In 2025, he dropped his second EP Out of the Blue, which includes songs with Sarkodie and Nigerian singer Qing Madi. He also worked with Mr Drew on the Lova Boy Era EP and recently passed 100 million streams on Audiomack.
