Ghanaian entrepreneur and musician, Criss Waddle, recently shared insights into his failed attempt to collaborate with Stay Jay, shedding light on the circumstances that led to the missed opportunity.

The revelation came following a throwback post by Benjamin Swanzy Kwesi featuring Stay Jay and others, reminiscing about the hit song ‘Shashee Wowo.’

In his post, the CEO of AMG disclosed his desire to team up with Stay Jay during the peak of ‘Shashee Wowo’s’ success. However, negotiations hit a snag when Stay Jay proposed charging a fee for his participation in the collaboration.

Criss Waddle, disappointed by this turn of events, canceled his plans to collaborate with Stay Jay.

Instead, he shifted his efforts to collaborate with Bisa Kdei, resulting in the hit song ‘Ayi.’

The success of ‘Ayi’ helped Waddle and he made a decision to forget about the potential collaboration with Stay Jay.
