Renowned Ghanaian rapper Medikal has officially parted ways with the music record label, Arab Money Group (AMG), which is spearheaded by Criss Waddle.
Medikal publicly announced his departure from AMG on X, however, he chose not to divulge the specific reasons behind his decision.
In his statement, he declared, “I’m no longer a member of AMG. If you see me wey you talk AMG I go fi slap you!”

The rapper initially joined AMG in 2010 during the nascent stages of his career, and over the years, he rose to prominence within the label, producing numerous chart-topping hits. His departure has left fans speculating about the circumstances surrounding his exit. Medikal who is well-known in Ghana is recognised in blending Afrobeats and Hip Hop in his music. Some of his popular songs include “Omo Ada,” “Ayekoo,” “Confirm”, “How Much” and many more.
He has won awards at events like the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). In 2019, he scooped up awards for Best Rapper of the Year and VGMA Hiplife/Hip Hop Artiste of the Year, showing he’s one of the top talents in Ghanaian music.
