Gyakie – Flames ft. Davido

Multi-talented Ghanaian songstress Gyakie released this new song she calls “Flames”.

It features Nigerian award-winning musician Davido. The song is taken off from her new EP called “My Diary”. which was launched today.

Gyakie says she is honored to have Davido on her project and understands that his presence on this song, in particular, will set off a chain reaction. ‘FLAMES’ is also a love song. This is equivalent to the girl or guy telling the lover that they will not leave their side and will remain with them. The original song did not feature Davido. She had the opportunity to meet him and then perform a couple of unpublished songs for him. That was his personal favorite. Straight up, as he started recording, Ishe walked to the restroom to cry. She couldn’t believe she was in the same room as him. ‘This had to be a dream,’ she thought. She doesn’t want to wake up if it’s a dream.”
