Davido

Davido, born David Adedeji Adeleke on November 21, 1992, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was raised in Lagos, Nigeria, where he began his music career while studying at Babcock University. Davido gained prominence in 2011 with his hit single “Dami Duro”, which established him as one of Africa’s leading Afrobeats artists. Over the years, he has released several successful albums, including Omo Baba Olowo (2012), A Good Time (2019), and Timeless (2023). Known for chart-topping hits like “Fall,” “If,” “FIA,” and “Unavailable,” Davido has collaborated with global stars such as Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, and Popcaan. He is the founder of Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), a label that has nurtured top Nigerian talents. Beyond music, Davido is recognized for his philanthropy, influence in African entertainment, and his strong fan base, often referred to as the 30BG (30 Billion Gang).
