DJ Sedan – Kweku Smoke Mix

Ghanaian disc jockey DJ Sedan returns with another artiste-focused mixtape, this time putting together a collection dedicated to Ghanaian rapper Kweku Smoke. The new project is simply titled “Kweku Smoke Mix.”

Playing for approximately 1 hour, 12 minutes and 22 seconds, the mixtape takes listeners through different records from Kweku Smoke’s catalogue. DJ Sedan uses the lengthy runtime to bring together several songs while keeping the music flowing continuously from one selection to the next.

The mix features Kweku Smoke songs including “Bombele,” “Survival,” “Sober,” “Bra,” “Faith,” “Haleluya,” “My Youth,” “Agyekum” and “Hope,” among others.

Kweku Smoke has become an important name in Ghana’s current rap scene, building a strong following with music centred around his experiences, ambition, struggles and life on the streets. His catalogue gives DJ Sedan plenty of material to work with on this dedicated mix.

For listeners who regularly follow Kweku Smoke’s releases, the mixtape provides more than an hour of his music in one place. It can also serve as an introduction for anyone who wants to explore more of the rapper’s records without going through individual releases separately.

The “Kweku Smoke Mix” follows DJ Sedan’s growing collection of mixes dedicated to individual Ghanaian artistes, with the DJ using each edition to compile music from a particular musician into one extended session.
