AlorG – Chap Chap ft. Medikal

Ghanaian singer and songwriter AlorG has teamed up with award-winning rapper Medikal on a new song titled “Chap Chap.” The collaboration appears on AlorG’s recently released eight-track EP, First Off I’m Proud Of G, which arrived on October 16, 2026.

Unlike the more reflective titles found on some music projects, “Chap Chap” immediately introduces an expression familiar to many Ghanaians. The phrase is commonly used to describe doing something quickly or without unnecessary delays, making it an interesting choice for a song that brings together two musicians from different stages of their careers.

The recording runs for approximately two minutes and thirty-three seconds, giving both artistes a compact platform to present their musical contributions.

AlorG recruits Medikal for Chap Chap

One of the major attractions of this release is Medikal’s involvement. The Ghanaian rapper has spent years establishing himself through successful singles, albums and collaborations, earning recognition for his distinctive rap delivery and use of everyday Ghanaian expressions.

His appearance on “Chap Chap” introduces AlorG’s music to another section of Ghana’s hip-hop audience while providing existing supporters with an opportunity to hear the two artistes on the same recording.

For AlorG, securing a collaboration with Medikal represents an important addition to First Off I’m Proud Of G. The EP also features contributions from Suono Sai and MANAMEPEE, reflecting the musician’s interest in working with other creative talents.

“Chap Chap” occupies the fourth position on the project, following “All Of A Sudden,” “Mr Legit” and “S.A.S.” It is immediately followed by “Life Of The Party,” another recording from the collection.

The arrangement gives listeners an opportunity to experience the Medikal collaboration as part of a larger musical project rather than treating it as an isolated release.

AlorG, whose real name is Kusi-Gyamfi Alodia, has been developing his career through independent releases and digital music platforms. His work has attracted an audience interested in discovering Ghanaian musicians beyond the country’s established mainstream performers.

With First Off I’m Proud Of G, he presents a collection that combines solo recordings with selected collaborations, allowing different musical personalities to contribute to the project.

Listeners who enjoy Ghanaian rap collaborations can explore “Chap Chap” before checking out the remaining tracks on the EP.

The song also offers Medikal’s followers another opportunity to discover AlorG’s music and become familiar with his developing catalogue.
