K’Coneil Ft. Stonebwoy – Balance (Prod. By Moniebeatz)

Jamaican singer K’Coneil teamed up with Ghanaian reggae and dancehall star Stonebwoy to deliver “Balance,” an infectious Afro-dancehall collaboration released on 1 June 2018 under Keynote Records. Produced by Moniebeatz, the single brought together Jamaican dancehall and African rhythms in a way that appealed to listeners across the Caribbean, Africa and beyond.

The collaboration came after K’Coneil and Stonebwoy met during a show at the Gramercy Theatre in New York in 2017. Impressed by Stonebwoy’s energy and his fusion of African music with dancehall, K’Coneil felt the collaboration was a natural fit. Their shared vision resulted in a record that blends reggae, dancehall, Afrobeats and R&B into one lively soundtrack.

On “Balance,” both artistes encourage listeners to let loose and enjoy themselves on the dance floor. The catchy chorus and playful lyrics celebrate confidence, dancing and positive vibes, while Stonebwoy adds his signature Afro-dancehall flavour with a memorable verse that perfectly complements K’Coneil’s smooth delivery.

Production was handled by Moniebeatz, whose upbeat instrumental combines Caribbean grooves with African-inspired percussion and melodies. The result is a vibrant sound that feels equally at home in clubs, beach parties and summer playlists. The song runs for approximately 4 minutes and 14 seconds, giving both artistes enough room to showcase their chemistry.

To support the release, the pair travelled to Miami to shoot the official music video with acclaimed director Jose “Javy” Ferrer, known for his work with artistes such as Daddy Yankee, Wyclef Jean and Farruko. The colourful visuals, energetic dancers and sunny backdrop perfectly match the fun atmosphere of the song.

“Balance” remains one of Stonebwoy’s notable international collaborations, highlighting his ability to blend seamlessly with artistes from different musical backgrounds while helping to bridge the gap between African and Caribbean sounds.
