Shatta Wale – Stay Focused

Shatta Wale, the King of African Dancehall, is back with a brand-new EP titled Voice of the Crown, set to release on August 7, 2025. This five-track project marks a return to his solo style, with all songs written, produced, mixed, and mastered by Shatta Wale himself. He’s fully in control of the creative process, and it shows.

One of the standout songs on the EP is “Stay Focused”. The track brings strong energy, direct lyrics, and a clear message—stay committed, ignore distractions, and keep pushing forward. While the exact length of the song hasn’t been confirmed yet, the full EP is expected to run for about 13 minutes, based on the Apple Music listing.

Shatta Wale has also been making headlines recently. In June 2025, officers from EOCO entered his home at Trassaco Valley over investigations involving his Lamborghini. He quickly addressed the situation, stating clearly that he makes honest money through music and years of hard work.

At the 2025 President’s Cup in Accra, he used the stage to encourage young Ghanaians to support President Mahama, sparking discussions across the country. Some praised his stance, while others criticized it, but as always, he made an impact.

Back in June 2024, he donated GH₵30,000 to help the Buzstop Boys with a cleanup campaign in Accra. He even joined the team on the streets to raise awareness about sanitation. His passion for youth empowerment also led to the launch of the Accra Invasion Project, which has already helped spotlight nine upcoming artists. Shatta plans to expand this movement across all regions in Ghana, starting with Volta.
