Shatta Wale – King In A Life

Shatta Wale, widely known as the King of African Dancehall, is back again and shaking things up with a fresh project titled Voice of the Crown. The EP comes with five powerful songs, all delivered solo by Shatta Wale himself. One of the standout tracks is “King In A Life”, a bold and uplifting record that highlights his confidence, growth, and vision as a leader in the African music scene.

“King In A Life” showcases Shatta Wale’s signature sound and energy. He released the track on July 27, 2025, under his own label, Shatta Movement Empire. Just like the rest of the EP, he took full control of its production. The project features songs like God Is Here, Street Crown, Stay Focused, and Stacks Pon Stacks. Shatta Wale either produced each track himself or teamed up with Nawtyboi, highlighting his active involvement in both the creative and technical sides of the music.

Outside of music, Shatta Wale has been very active lately. In April 2025, the University of Ghana featured his branding strategy during a marketing masterclass. Around the same time, he welcomed Nigerian TikTok star Peller to his home in Accra, stirring up excitement online. He also continues to grow his local ride-hailing business, Shaxi, which is gaining attention across Ghana.

He’s not just focused on entertainment. In 2024, Shatta Wale donated to the Buzstop Boys, a group working to improve sanitation in Accra. He even joined in their clean-up exercises, showing real commitment to community work. Through the Accra Invasion Project, he’s also been discovering new talent from different parts of the city, with plans to expand the initiative to more regions in Ghana.
