Sarkodie ft. Scata Bada – State of Mind (Prod. by ProStar Production)

Award-winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie revisited one of his most talked-about freestyles with the official release of “State of Mind,” featuring dancehall artiste Scata Bada. The song was released on 24 July 2018, just days after Sarkodie’s wedding, with production handled by ProStar Production. It transformed the original freestyle into a complete song by introducing Scata Bada’s energetic contribution.

Unlike many of Sarkodie’s commercial releases, “State of Mind” is built around raw lyricism and honest reflection. The rapper uses the song to speak about his journey, the sacrifices behind his success and the mindset that has kept him at the top of Ghana’s music industry. His verses are filled with confidence, reminding listeners that determination and consistency remain the foundation of every achievement.

Scata Bada adds a fresh dancehall flavour to the record with a catchy hook and lively performance that blends naturally with Sarkodie’s rap. His appearance gives the song a different dimension, making it appealing to both hip-hop and dancehall fans while maintaining the energy of the original freestyle.
