Music is everything and it takes a determined soul to do. Doing it best to touch the hearts of listeners matters more. Every year a new name pops up and goes all the way from grass to grace. One person known for putting fellow young acts on the wave is undoubtedly Ghana’s most decorated rapper Sarkodie.
Ever since Sarkodie made it to the top, all he does was give others the spotlight to shine as well. He’s done put several acts on wave who are making great names for themselves currently. This year was no different. Despite the coronavirus pandemic the king still went ahead to do what he does best which putting someone on the wave.
In an effort to create more attention for the almost fading legendary azonto music wave, Sarkodie volunteered to drop free verses on a couple of azonto songs from upcoming acts and mainstream acts. He urged all to send unreleased azonto songs to his email for a verse. From what we know so far, over 1100 songs landed in his email and it was hard to even choose.
After carefully listening to all the songs of which he even did so with fans via Instagram live and Twitter live. His attention landed on one song by one Amg Evergreen. Sarkodie didn’t waste much time. He dropped a fire verse on the song and resent it to the sender. He later posted a snippet of his verse on that song and urged whoever owns the song to drop it asap.
After his post, Amg Evergreen came out to assure the king he was the owner and the song will be dropping soon once production if fully completed. After the production of the song was completed, Amg Evergreen sought permission from King Sark to drop the song which happened to be titled Yaaba.
Sarkodie gave the green light and the necessary plans were made for the release of the song. The anticipation of the song was so huge that almost everyone pondered on the song. Sarkodie after listening to the full version of the song just couldn’t get enough of it. Sarknatives welcomed the song like their own with huge praises flying here and there.
Sarkodie made the move to check other projects of Amg Evergreen and he was stunned. Amg Evergreen had recently released a 6 track EP titled “The Green Tape” and a Cypher with fellow taadi based rappers. When the king came across these projects he couldn’t deny how much of a talent Evergreen was.

He took to his various social media pages to heap praises on the Amg signed act. He dubbed him the next big thing and tipped him for greatness.

Criss Waddle also made it clear that Ghanaians and Africa on a whole should watch out for Amg Evergreen. The boy is too hot to be cooled at this point. Amg Evergreen himself have thanked king sark several times and promised to work hard to justify his trust in him.
The Taadi based rapper seems to be building a stronghold to break grounds and is leaving no stone unturned. Watch out.
