Kojo Blak – BOUNCE

Ghanaian Afrobeats artiste Kojo Blak has released “BOUNCE,” a new song produced by the Ghanaian production duo Ugly & Tough.

The track brings Kojo Blak’s youthful sound together with the production style of Ugly & Tough, who have worked closely with him on earlier releases. Their credits can also be found on Kojo Blak’s 2023 song “Something,” showing that this is a working relationship that has already produced music for his growing fan base.

“BOUNCE” is built for movement. The title sets the mood immediately, pointing to a song made for dancing, parties, short videos and playlists that need a quick lift. Kojo Blak keeps the delivery light and catchy, while the production gives the record a steady Afrobeats bounce that allows the rhythm to lead.

The song arrives as Kojo Blak continues to build his place in Ghana’s current music scene. He has gained attention through songs such as “Excellent,” “Next Door” with Sarkodie and material from his 131 EP, while his music moves between Afrobeats, Afrofusion and highlife influences.

Ugly & Tough’s involvement is important because the duo understand the sound Kojo Blak is developing. Their production does not try to overcrowd the song. Instead, it gives him room to ride the beat, hold the hook and keep the track easy to replay.

For fans who enjoy Kojo Blak’s recent direction, “BOUNCE” adds another lively option to the playlist. It is short in title, direct in mood and made for listeners who want something they can move to without overthinking it.
