Ghanaian rising star iKofi has released a bold new single titled “Church People.” The track challenges hypocrisy and faith-based double standards in a sharp and relatable way. It dropped on major streaming platforms in early September 2025, with 5 September confirmed as the official release date. The song is already attracting attention on social media and music charts.
“Church People” runs for 2 minutes and 53 seconds. Xr Beatz handled the production and engineering, while Alex Appiah received credit for songwriting and composition.
In this record, iKofi speaks directly to listeners. He points out the contradictions within religious spaces, highlighting leaders who fail to practice what they preach. The catchy hook mixes local language with streetwise phrasing, which makes the track easy to remember.
