Ghanaian singer Fameye has released a heartfelt tribute to the late highlife legend Daddy Lumba. The song, titled “Daddy Lumba Tribute,” is said to run about 2 minutes 48 seconds and is reportedly produced by Liquidbeatz.
Fameye recorded the tribute just two days after Lumba’s passing on July 26, 2025. He posted about it publicly, saying that out of admiration and respect he felt compelled to honor Lumba’s legacy. Some sources suggest he is still deciding whether to officially release the track commercially.

Meanwhile, Fameye has been very active. In July 2025 he was honored by MUSIGA at an Authentic Highlife Night. He has continued performing live, working on new collaborations, and engaging with fans on social media.
