Endorsing #4MoreForNana Doesn’t Make Sarkodie An Npp Member – Demsy Fires Critics. Sarkodie has currently the talk of the town for the past couple of days after the release of his controversial song titled “Happy Day” which featured sensational lynx entertainment act Kuami Eugene.

The origin of all this controversy dives deep into Sarkodie’s political affiliations following his endorsement of Nana Akufo-Addo and his NPP government. In the song, he was heard commending the good works of the Npp government since they came into power.

The legendary Ghanaian Rapper stressed that he’s very thankful for this day as his children are enjoying Free education and uninterrupted Electricity which is currently free. Before that, he first condemned the previous Mahama-led NDC government for the problems they caused Ghanaians and confessed that he currently has no choice but to give Nana Akufo-Addo four more years.

With these choices of words, the entire entertainment industry had grounds to prove Sarkodie’s undying love and support for the Npp-led government. But in reply to Akufo-Addo’s comment about his new Happy Day song, Sarkodie clarified to the president that in no way is his song a campaign song for the NPP government or Akufo-Addo himself.

He further distanced himself from any kind of political party affiliation. He made a plain declaration that he’s not on either party’s side but he will say so if a party’s governance is impressive.

This revelation divided his entire fan base because it was hard to decipher Sarkodie’s comments as everyone was well aware that Sarkodie was quick to criticize the initiatives of the previous Mahama-led NDC government but always stayed mute on the same issues of the NPP. The same Sarkodie is also quick to heap praises on the NPP for the simplest Task accomplished but it’s hard to locate a record of him praising a positive NDC initiative.

Everyone had something to say on this issue but the most worthy of attention, discussion and exposure is an earlier tweet by upcoming Ghanaian songstress Demsy. The upcoming female act who recently released her mind-blowing debut single titled Niende Added her take on the issue stressing that there’s nothing wrong about endorsing Akufo-Addo and #4MoreForNana.

She further explained that doing so doesn’t make Sarkodie an NPP member either. Her comments seem solid because anyone who has witnessed the shambles of Mahama’s term will desire nothing but four more years under Akufo-Addo than four hours under Mahama.

Per our take, Demsy makes absolute sense except one isn’t taking a look at the bigger picture. Sarkodie endorsing Akufo-Addo doesn’t make him a staunch NPP member and it’s period.

Since Sarkodie has endorsed Nana.. ("Nana Toaso, The Battle Is Still the Lords".) Doesn't mean The Rapper "Sarkodie" belongs to the NPP Political Party. But It surprises me ,why your fan base can't give you a million views in a day.. You're too good for these numbers….. https://t.co/1W6iXO5mRV
