Award-winning Ghanaian producer and DJ DJ Breezy assembled three of Ghana’s brightest young stars—Kuami Eugene, Kwesi Arthur and Darkovibes—for “Back 2 Sender,” an infectious Afro-fusion collaboration released on 16 November 2018. Produced by DJ Breezy himself, the single showcased the unique strengths of each artiste while delivering a catchy anthem filled with confidence and positive energy.
The title “Back 2 Sender” is inspired by a popular expression often used to reject negativity, bad wishes and anything intended to cause harm. Through the song, the artistes send a clear message that no amount of hate, envy or obstacles can stop their progress. Instead, they choose to focus on success, self-belief and moving forward with confidence.

Kuami Eugene delivers a melodious chorus that instantly captures attention, while Kwesi Arthur contributes reflective rap verses inspired by his journey from the streets of Tema to becoming one of Ghana’s leading young musicians. Darkovibes adds his signature Afro-fusion style, giving the collaboration an alternative flavour that perfectly complements the performances of the other artistes.

As producer, DJ Breezy creates a polished instrumental that blends Afrobeats, hip-hop and dancehall influences. The beat features vibrant percussion, catchy synths and melodic guitar elements, creating a modern sound that allows every artiste to shine while maintaining a consistent groove throughout the record.
The official music video, directed by Yaw Skyface, was released shortly after the audio and received positive reactions for its colourful visuals and energetic scenes. The combination of four influential Ghanaian musicians made “Back 2 Sender” one of the notable collaborations of 2018 and further demonstrated DJ Breezy’s ability to produce commercially successful records.
