Celestine Donkor – I Carry Fire

Award-winning Ghanaian gospel singer Celestine Donkor has released a new single called “I Carry Fire.” The song delivers a clear message of faith and courage for every child of God. It draws inspiration from Isaiah 54:17, which promises that no weapon formed against believers will succeed, and Hebrews 12:29, which describes God as a consuming fire. Celestine reminds listeners that when God lives in you, you carry His fire. This fire never goes out and defeats every obstacle and attack. The track offers strength and hope to anyone facing challenges.

Celestine wrote, composed, and arranged “I Carry Fire” herself. The song runs for about six minutes and came out on September 22, 2025.

Dynamics Unlimited handled the executive production. Jonathan Kakraba recorded the track, and Joe Amoah of Springboard Studios mixed and mastered it. The music team features Celestial Breed on backing vocals, Richmond Hondinya on drums, Frank Owusu Addo on bass, Benedict Deladem (Efo Dela) on lead guitar, Moris Aux and Ekow Quansah Jnr on piano, and Ebenezer Amisah on keyboard.

Earlier in 2025, Celestine released another single, “Something New.” She performed at major gospel events, including the Exceptional Gratitude Concert in Italy. She is now preparing a new album titled Highly Lifted and plans a headline concert to launch it.
