Jamaican dancehall star Alkaline, whose real name is Earlan Bartley, has released a new song titled “Priority.” The track came out on August 1, 2025, and it runs for about 2 minutes and 40 seconds. ArmzHouse Records and Autobamb Records produced the track.

In “Priority,” Alkaline praises strong and confident women who know their worth and make their own decisions. The song features smooth melodies and catchy beats, making it a great choice for fans of modern dancehall music. This new release comes shortly after Alkaline gave a powerful performance at the New Rules Festival held at Trelawny Stadium in Jamaica in July 2025. That event was a major success, drawing large crowds and showing once again that Alkaline is one of the top names in dancehall music today. Earlier this year, he also performed in London at Wembley Arena and in Toronto, Canada as part of his New Rules Festival tour.

Aside from music, Alkaline has also been involved in community work. In June 2025, he partnered with Jamaica’s Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and the 4H Clubs to support young people in farming and education.
