Strongman – Disco ft. Kweku Darlington

Ghanaian rapper Strongman has teamed up with singer and songwriter Kweku Darlington for a new song titled “Disco.” The collaboration is scheduled for release on Friday, 6 November 2026, bringing the two Kumasi musicians together for another recording.

Produced by Freddy, the song follows their previous collaboration, “Focus,” which appeared on Strongman’s 2024 EP, God & Rap.

“Disco” is released under Strong Empire, with digital distribution handled by MiPROMO. The single has already attracted attention following Strongman’s announcement on social media, where he shared its artwork and release date.

The collaboration brings together two artistes who have developed their careers through different approaches to Ghanaian rap and contemporary music.

Strongman, born Osei Kwaku Vincent, has built his reputation through competitive rap, wordplay and storytelling. His career gained national attention after he won The Next Big Thing in GH Rap competition in 2012.

Since then, he has released several recordings and collaborated with musicians across Ghana’s music industry.

Kweku Darlington, whose full name is Emmanuel Kweku Owusu Darlington, became widely recognised following the success of “Sika Aba Fie,” which featured Yaw Tog and Kweku Flick.

The song later received a remix featuring Fameye and Kuami Eugene, helping introduce Darlington to a broader audience.

Strongman and Kweku Darlington previously worked together on “Focus,” a recording produced by Freddy Beatz and released in April 2024.

That collaboration appeared on God & Rap, a seven-track project featuring contributions from King Paluta, DopeNation and other Ghanaian musicians.

Their reunion on “Disco” brings back a familiar creative partnership, with Freddy once again contributing to the production.

The songwriting credits identify Osei Kwaku Vincent and Emmanuel Kweku Owusu Darlington as the composers and lyricists.

Mohammed Muhi-Deen Yakubu is also credited for A&R, contributing to the release’s artistic and repertoire management.

For listeners who enjoyed “Focus,” the new single offers another opportunity to hear Strongman and Kweku Darlington working together.

The collaboration also reflects the continued contribution of Kumasi-based musicians to Ghana’s hip-hop and hiplife scenes.

As Strongman expands his catalogue of solo releases and collaborations, “Disco” adds another recording to his activities in 2026.
