Showbezzy – Akata II ft. GlobalBoy, Lami Jnr & Youth God

Ghanaian rapper Showbezzy, also known as Showboy, has teamed up with GlobalBoy, Lami Jnr and Youth God on a new song titled “Akata II.” The collaboration appears on his latest album, Lonely At The Top, released on October 22, 2026.

The recording follows Showbezzy’s earlier single “Akata,” which was released in July 2026. With the second instalment, the rapper expands the title into a collaboration featuring three musicians connected to Ghana’s contemporary hip-hop scene.

Unlike the original recording, “Akata II” introduces additional performers, making it another notable collaboration on the album.

The song also reflects Showbezzy’s continued interest in working with artistes from Ghana’s younger rap generation while maintaining his identity within the industry.

For the second instalment, Showbezzy recruits GlobalBoy, Lami Jnr and Youth God, bringing together musicians whose activities have attracted attention within Ghana’s growing rap community.

GlobalBoy, also known as GlobalBoy Collin, has developed his recording career through individual songs and collaborations with other Ghanaian performers.

His involvement adds another appearance to his expanding catalogue, which includes recordings associated with Kumasi’s contemporary hip-hop movement.

Lami Jnr is also connected to the Kumasi music scene and has released several recordings featuring other emerging rappers.

Among his previous collaborations are songs involving Youth God, making their appearance together on “Akata II” another addition to an existing musical connection.

Youth God has similarly appeared on collaborative recordings within the Ghanaian rap community, particularly alongside Lami Jnr and other performers.

Their participation gives Showbezzy’s latest recording a combination of artistes representing different experiences within the genre.

“Akata II” joins other selections from Lonely At The Top, including “Pokua” featuring Ypee, “One Man Thousand” featuring Larruso, and “Bombo Yiee Pt. 3” featuring Strongman and Eno Barony.

The album also contains individual recordings such as “Grind,” “Steeze,” “Spiritual Wife” and “Ajagurajah.”
