De Light – Lemme Be ft. Jay Bahd

German-based Ghanaian musician De Light connects with Ghanaian rapper Jay Bahd for a new song titled “Lemme Be.” Produced by Fox Beatz, the collaboration brings the two artistes together on an Afro-fusion record that combines melody with a strong rap presence.

De Light takes the lead on the song, introducing listeners to his style while creating enough room for Jay Bahd to bring a different energy to the record. Their individual approaches give “Lemme Be” a mixture of sounds without making either performance feel out of place.

Jay Bahd comes in with the distinctive delivery that has made him one of the recognisable voices associated with Ghana’s new generation of rappers. His contribution provides a harder edge to the track and works as a contrast to De Light’s performance.

Behind the song is Fox Beatz, who handles the production and provides the instrumental foundation for the collaboration. The Afro-fusion direction allows the record to move beyond a strictly rap-focused sound while maintaining its Ghanaian identity.

For De Light, working with Jay Bahd provides another opportunity to introduce his music to a wider Ghanaian audience while continuing his journey as an artiste based outside the country.

“Lemme Be” is a fresh addition to both artistes’ catalogues and another Ghanaian collaboration for listeners looking for new music to add to their playlists.
