Droplord SAS releases ‘INSPIRED BY 3KCM’, a seven-track project born from hunger. Featuring BHADMAYORS, Bosom P-Yung, YPee, LAMI JNR, $pacely and a host of rising Kumasi talents, the project marks a defining chapter in the artiste’s journey.

Droplord SAS has officially released his latest body of work, ‘INSPIRED BY 3KCM’, a seven-track EP that turns hunger, ambition and the realities of his journey into a musical statement.

The project arrived at midnight on September 2 and is now available across all major digital streaming platforms.

For Droplord, however, 3KCM is more than a title. It means hunger. And that meaning sits at the centre of the entire project. If anyone ever asks how Droplord managed to get to where he is today, the answer is contained in the title itself.

It is the hunger to create, the hunger to be heard and the hunger to keep moving when the recognition is yet to match the work. It is also a reflection of the people and circumstances that have shaped his journey from Kumasi’s creative community to this latest milestone.

‘INSPIRED BY 3KCM’ therefore arrives as more than a collection of songs. It is a record of what that hunger has produced so far.

The EP opens with ‘Din Bonee’, featuring BHADMAYORS and produced by Mr Herry. The project then moves into ‘By Myself’, a collaboration with Bosom P-Yung, produced by Flydropdabeat.

On ‘Stay Up’, Droplord joins forces with YPee, Youth God and Holyrina, with Mr Herry handling both production and engineering.

The fourth record, ‘Colorado Girl’, brings together LAMI JNR, FIDDY Titi and BHADMAYORS. The beat was created by Vany and Cardiel, with production by Samsney and Mr Herry.

‘Too Smart’, featuring LAMI JNR, follows with production from Kwame Agger and mixing by Mr Herry.

The penultimate track, ‘2 Hours’, features $pacely, Pinto Black and BHADMAYORS, with Mr Herry handling the mix.

The EP closes with ‘Boys No Suro’, an expansive collaboration featuring 39_40, Bbig Nova, ELG Sarkisty, Vilito and King Balance, also mixed by Mr Herry.

Across its seven tracks, the project brings together different voices from Ghana’s growing music scene while maintaining a clear connection to the environment from which Droplord has emerged.

    A sound shaped by community

One of the most striking elements of ‘INSPIRED BY 3KCM’ is the number of artists and creative figures who have become part of Droplord’s story.

The featured artistes each bring a different presence to the project, while people such as MC Portfolio, Abu National, Sarkodie and Kumasi Blue Light, alongside creators within Kumasi’s vibrant TikTok and digital community, including Last Hero, represent the wider network that has contributed to the culture surrounding his rise.

Kumasi has played a particularly important role.

For an artiste building his name from the city, the support has not existed solely within traditional music circles. Creators, digital personalities, listeners and fellow artistes have all formed part of the ecosystem through which Droplord has continued to develop.

That sense of community also extends into the production of the EP.

Mr Herry is one of the project’s most significant contributors, working across several records as a producer, engineer and mixing engineer while also playing an important role in helping further shape Droplord’s sound.

His involvement reflects more than technical credits. He has become an important mentor and contributor to Droplord’s musical development, making his presence across the project particularly significant.

    “This is our time”

For Droplord SAS, ‘INSPIRED BY 3KCM’ represents a breakthrough.

He believes he has reached a point where the work can speak for itself and where the journey ahead is no longer defined by whether he will arrive, but by how far he can go.

He has arrived, and he is here to stay.

The project is inspired by ɛkɔm, the hunger that has pushed him through every stage of the journey. That hunger remains, even as the circumstances change.

And if there is one thing Droplord wants the people who believed in him to take from this moment, it is simple:

“To the believers, this is our time.”

‘INSPIRED BY 3KCM’ is not the end of the journey. It is a marker along the road, seven songs documenting a young artiste’s determination to turn hunger into something tangible.

The stars, as Droplord sees it, are the limit, Not the skies.
