Ghanaian artiste Jetey raised the profile of his hit single “Fa Ma Me” with an exciting remix featuring award-winning rapper Sarkodie and singer Gidochi. Produced by AbeBeatz, the remix was officially released on 20 July 2018, giving the original record a fresh sound and a wider audience.
The phrase “Fa Ma Me”, which translates from Twi as “Give It To Me,” forms the centre of the song’s catchy hook. Built around themes of love and attraction, the remix sees Jetey expressing admiration for a special woman while asking her to give their relationship a chance. The playful lyrics and infectious melody make the song an easy listen from beginning to end.
Sarkodie adds his trademark lyrical touch with a confident verse that blends effortlessly into the record. Rather than overshadowing the original artistes, he complements the song with witty punchlines and smooth storytelling, while Gidochi strengthens the collaboration with his melodic vocals, giving the remix a balanced and polished feel.
