A new link-up between West Africa and Jamaica arrives with “Lambo,” a dancehall-led song from Nigerian singer Mr Eazi, featuring Jamaican dancehall star Vybz Kartel and producer Dre Skull.
The track was released on 3 July 2026 and brings together artistes with a shared history in Caribbean and African music. Dre Skull, who is also credited as a featured act, leads the production, giving the song its dancehall direction while Mr Eazi and Vybz Kartel take care of the vocals. “Lambo” follows Mr Eazi’s earlier work with Dre Skull and continues the musical connection between Afrobeats and Jamaican dancehall. Mr Eazi had previously spoken about wanting to explore that relationship further through a joint project with Dre Skull, describing himself as a long-time dancehall fan.
Vybz Kartel’s presence gives the record a direct Jamaican touch, while Mr Eazi brings his calm and recognisable vocal style. The result is a short, dance-ready track that can fit club playlists, parties and weekend listening.
