Masicka – Top Of The World

Jamaican dancehall musician Masicka has released a brand new song titled “Top Of The World,” featured on his latest project Her Name Is Love, which was officially released on December 19, 2025 via Def Jam Recordings. The eight-track EP is designed for fans’ listening pleasure and represents a fresh, more emotionally focused direction in Masicka’s music, celebrating themes of love, intimacy, desire, and connection while retaining the powerful lyrical delivery he’s known for. The project has been described as a nuanced shift toward themes of emotional awareness and romantic depth, centering femininity and connection as core elements of its narrative.

Masicka, whose real name is Javaun “Masicka” Fearon, hails from Portmore, Saint Catherine Parish, Jamaica and has been a prominent figure in dancehall for over a decade. He first garnered widespread attention with his rapid-fire delivery and street-savvy storytelling in local underground hits before breaking through internationally with his debut album 438 in 2021, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart and accumulated millions of streams globally.

In 2023 he followed up with Generation of Kings, also debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart and featuring collaborations with artists such as Spice, Popcaan, Dexta Daps, Lila Iké, Fridayy and Afrobeats star Fave, demonstrating his expanding creative range.
