Jamaican dancehall artist Masicka has released a brand-new song titled “Please (feat. Lola Brooke)”, taken from his latest project Her Name Is Love, which officially dropped on December 19, 2025 via Def Jam Recordings. The track appears as the third song on the eight-track release, marking a fresh, emotionally rich chapter in Masicka’s career. The EP reflects themes of love, admiration, relationships, and connection, demonstrating the lyricist’s versatility beyond his signature hard-hitting dancehall style. Masicka, whose real name is Javaun Fearon and who hails from Portmore, Jamaica, has established himself as one of modern dancehall’s most compelling voices. His previous release, Generation of Kings (2023), debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, following his 2021 album 438, which reached the same position.

Featured on “Please” is Lola Brooke, a prominent American rapper from Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York. Born Shyniece Thomas on February 1, 1994, Lola Brooke rose to prominence with her 2021 breakout single “Don’t Play With It,” which went viral on social platforms and helped solidify her presence in hip-hop. She has since signed with Arista Records, been featured in collaborative projects with major artists, and earned national recognition, including a spot in the 2023 XXL Freshman Class. The collaboration brings together Masicka’s smooth dancehall energy with Lola Brooke’s gritty, confident rap delivery, adding a cross-genre appeal that highlights both artists’ strengths. Her Name Is Love was crafted to celebrate women, emotional connection and romantic nuance, making “Please (feat.
