Masicka – Lifetime

Jamaican dancehall musician Masicka has just released a brand-new song titled “Lifetime”, taken from his latest project Her Name Is Love, which is set to release on December 19, 2025 through Def Jam Recordings. The project marks a fresh and emotionally charged chapter for Masicka, emphasising themes of love, emotional connection, admiration, and the influence of women—while still maintaining the sharp lyricism and strong presence that have defined his career. Masicka, born Javaun “Masicka” Fearon in Portmore, St. Catherine Parish, Jamaica, has built a reputation as one of modern dancehall’s most compelling voices. He first gained recognition on the local circuit with breakout tracks and later achieved international profile with his debut album 438, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart. His follow-up album, Generation of Kings (2023), also reached the No. 2 spot, broadening his sonic palette with influences from Afrobeats, R&B, and trap while solidifying his global appeal.
