Berlinda Gedie, better known by her stage name Shylar, is a young female artist from Ghana. Her much-awaited EP, “First Face,” has recently been released. This compilation, which includes five strong tracks, includes collaborations with musicians such as Kwesi Amewuga and Eno Barony.
Shylar’s own experiences with love, sorrow, and self-discovery served as inspiration for the EP’s blend of Highlife, Afrobeats, and Dancehall genres.[irp]
In honour of the publication of “First Face,” Shylar is launching a nationwide tour this week. A notable track on the EP is the recently released single “Atwei,” which features Kwesi Amewuga. Download and stream it right here.
