Well known singer from Nigeria, Tiwa Savage recently recounted her experience with eyesight impairments, disclosing that she now needs prescription glasses.
Through her Instagram story, she shared the difficulties she’s had with her eyesight over the last few years, including blurriness and the need to squint while reading.

In her own words, she stated, “Guys the last two or three years, I have been noticing that I will be squinting sometimes and when I read some stuff, it would be getting blurry.” This eye problem became more noticeable during her time in London, causing her to seek expert help from an optometrist to determine the severity of her problem.
She emphasized the severity of her condition by detailing times when she had to take screenshots of messages in order to zoom in and read them clearly. She went on to say, “In recent months, it’s gotten so bad that I sometimes can’t even read a menu in a restaurant without difficulty.”
She expressed her delight at finally receiving medicated spectacles to address her sight impairment. Happily, she displayed her new glasses and added, “So my long sight is okay for now, not great; but my short sight”
Despite difficulties, Tiwa Savage updated her fans that she is back on track and even treated herself to a trendy set of glasses, emphasizing her taste for luxury. “Literally, I will be in a restaurant and I won’t be able to read the menu. But for now, your girl is back and you know I needed to make some luxury and got myself a cartel pair because ABG don’t play.” She added.
